Character Information
Character Common Name: Dean “Ho'neohnestoohe Blackbird“ de Triumph
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age (human equivalent) : 20
Position in School: Sophmore
Journal Name: Honeohnestoohe
Appearance: Dean is a half-bred French/Cheyenne mix like his older sister, Sentralia. He’s tall, at 5’11” with hair that has been recently sheared short by order of their father. He’s got scars across the tops of his hands from going to a Catholic private school and being whacked with rulers. His eyes are dark, almost as dark as Sen’s. He’s got good, broad shoulders and his legs are well muscled from sports and dancing. His fingers are long, giving him an elegant look. He’s got small freckles when one gets close, that run across both cheekbones. His smile is easy and boyish, as though he refuses to completely grow into the man his body portrays. His clothing varies. He prefers looking comfy as opposed to his sister. Fashion sense escapes him; he’s just as comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt as he is in nothing, or practically nothing. He only wears his regalia when he has to, and no longer then he needs to. When Sentralia puts her hair up, the two of them look very very much alike. It’s easy to see that they are related.
Personality: Dean is a pretty nice guy… for a whore. He’s more then willing to hit on anything with a pair of breasts. It is not the face that attracts him, so he hits on (and often sleeps with) a multitude of girls. Most people are attracted to his accent, which is very much like his sister’s.
He enjoys joking around, even at the worst of times. He’s often blunt, and cannot tell very good lies (something that often got him in trouble). Some ruder people would call him an idiot savant, as he often comes off as knowing nothing, or very little. He’s actually rather intelligent, and often mooches answers off his sister when he can’t get something. He talks to his sister about everything, and calls her nearly everyday, much to Sen’s chagrin.
He does not, however, enjoy it when people try to impress their way of thinking on him. He ignores opinions and his sister’s ranting. In private, you can catch him reading thick books like “War and Peace” , “The Grapes of Wrath” and “The Idiot’s Guide to Cooking”. He often says Sen took what little cooking skill was garnered out and let him take all the smoothness.
“Yes, Dean, the smoothness of chunky peanut butter,” is often his sister’s reply.
Dean and Sentralia have a very good relationship for siblings so close in age. He dislikes his father’s family, seeing them as racists that would rather see him and his sister dead and cut from the family line. He shares his sister’s ideas on racists and bigotry.
Likes: Dean likes women, of all kinds (Danann beware!), his sister, playing ultra-violent video games and not batting an eyelash, DDR (which proves to be an amusement to no end to his sister), drinking! Being the life of the party, seducing. His music varies, he likes ska and punk, but is just as comfortable singing with his sister’s jazz CDs.
Dislikes: Men that hit on him (even straight ones that mistake him for Sentralia somehow), not being able to bug his sister because she’s in Ireland, his father, a boring party, men that hit on him, women that are super-feminist Nazis, seeing his sister be sad, country music, Crepes (something about the flatness).
Magic Capabilities: Dean’s only seemingly magical capability is seducing women into bed.
Personal and Family History: Dean was born on the 16th of December, a year and 11 days after his older sister had put herself on the Earth. He was her playmate, her toy, her henchmen as they got older. It was actually his idea to learn French, though he rarely accepts credit for it. He is well aware that much responsibility rests on his sister’s shoulders, because it was drilled into him by his Mother’s family of her importance to the Tribe and their family. It made him sullen as a child, to see all this attention lavished on Sen, and not have any on him. It was only after his sister told him that she hated all the attention she was getting that he finally became a little more upbeat. He and his sister were sent to different schools as children, Dean going to St. John of Tuscany’s School for Catholic Children.
He was, without a doubt, a troublemaker without his sister to keep an eye on him and tell him what to do. Sentralia doesn’t have complete control over him, just a good amount that keeps him calm and happy. As he grew older, the family put him into school with his sister; he acted as her bodyguard from the white kids. They were always together, and he was astonished at the amount of people that had crushes on the two of them. Thus his love for women was born and grew. He dislikes it when he notices a guy checking out his sister. As far as he is concerned, Sentralia is not female, so no one should be trying to date her. When Sentralia graduated high school and left for college at Montana State and then later when she went to Esras University, Dean became depressed and found company in the arms of a Elizabeth Smith. A girl from one of the more affluent families in Lame Deer (not that there are that many) she was white. They were found out and Dean was beaten up, it was lucky for him that he wasn’t killed. He told his sister about it, and she told him to not worry about the girl, because it was more then likely she’d been using the boy for attention.
He chose to go to Montana State, like his sister did, and wants to become an Engineer. Machines are no mystery to him, and Sentralia has caught him on several occasions taking apart the remote and making it into a toy. At some point he’d like to transfer to Esras and join his sister.
