Character Information
Character Name:
Gender:
Age:
Position in School: teacher, student (freshman, sophmore, junior, senior, or grad student?), security, maintainence, etc…
Appearance: Please be as detailed as possible. One paragraph minimum. Remember, that means details, details, details! Try to avoid Mary Sues and Gary Stus. Not all people are beautiful, thin, and perfect in appearance. Even the elves can get scars and scrapes. Be realistic, within the bounds of this reality.
Personality: Here is where you tell us all about how your character thinks, feels and acts. What are their strengths and weaknesses? How do they feel about their fellow man? How do they act in public? In private? How are they with technology, with nature? All of these things can (but don't have to be) included. Please, make this informative and detailed! This should be at least two paragraphs long, if not your character would be very bland…
Likes: These are their favorite things to do, eat, watch, etc… Put hobbies, little known facts and favorites. Try to be specific without being obvious. “They like nice people,” is an example of being too obvious. From their personality we should be able to gather their disposition and stance on things.
Dislikes: The opposite of what we just mentioned. What does your character despise? What are their fears?
Magic Capabilities: What is their capacity to do magic? Remember, not all would know that they even have the ability (IE humans), but may still be gifted with the affinity. (Wicca practicers, Native Americans... Very FEW should have this, but it is still an option).
Personal and Family History: Again, we want details! When were they born? What major events have impacted their life? Names of influential family members and friends should be included if necessary.
Writing Sample: Show us your talent! Write at least two paragraphs, one containing your character in first person and one in third person (past tense). We want to see your ability to be your character in his journal, which may be poorly typed or otherwise unlike a formal roleplay log. But we want to also see your third person roleplay skills.
