"To lead people, walk beside them... As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. The next best, the people honor and praise. The next, the people fear; and the next, the people hate... When the best leader's work is done the people say, 'We did it ourselves!'

To begin, I need to address the facet of play we all face. There are few involved in major plot. I know this, and have known for a while. Fear not, though I've been without steady computer access since May, I have followed every moment of the game. I am afraid that I am incapable of developing ways for every character to get into the plot without help from the players. The profiles you submitted were at the beginning of your character's creations. I can't know their goals, motivations, and interests, without discussing with everyone. To note again, Ms. Roxy and Ms. Tiff. They have clearly outlined what they want for their character, and all possible ways their character would be able to be drawn into the fray. To be drawn into the world of conspiracy and intrigue, your character can't be absorbed in their own world. Being such a way is fine, but it won't foster the things you want.
The game is meant to be a deep story of conspiracy... it requires patience, intuitiveness, and a desire to have highly motivated characters. From the start it hasn't been for everyone, and perhaps some people are frustrated by this. However, it's been marketed as just that from the start. I'm not sure how else to accomodate needs that people have that the game was never meant to fulfill. I find random fighting and drama to be cheap and unfulfilling in the creation of a truely whole and self-knowing character. I feel bad if people anticipated a DnD fantasy of random proportions and surface thought on matters... politics are never fast.
To make this game go anywhere, what people want, expect, and are willing to give needs to be aired. I have aired what this game is to be. It is to be the long untold story of the elves regaining existence in the human world. To be honest, the humans are the ones with the compelling stories. Their lives are fast and full of emotion. They are the ones who will shape this world now, and shape the minds of the elves watching them. Reiterating this for the umpteenth time is tiring, but I will tell you it in hopes that perhaps using synonyms will help. You know the story now. You know your character. You've known the world for quite some time. You want plot and drama, but WHAT do you want for your character? Elven pregnancy is not for everyone, neither is silent political warfare.
What does your character have to bring to the table? Do you have any ideas? I've worked to create my characters and make them work as needed. Some others have. You've got to decide what your character needs. Believe me. I love plot and planning, and have always greatly welcomed your ideas. I HATE Nic, but I adore the plot that Tiff helped me to create. (Die fucker die.)
This may not be for all of you. It's going to be slow and deep, as a novel written by the minds of many. It's okay if you want to bail, want to talk about it, or even want to question how it can make things better for you. I implore you only to be honest, with yourself, the members of the game, and the administration. If you need to leave, that's alright. If you want to think... it's okay too. But you need to talk, or else your fears and thoughts will be lost in the attempts of others to voice them and the moderators to assume them.
